San Antonio Children’s Museum

This bilingual hands-on museum is in the heart of downtown just a short distance from the Alamo. Designed as a walking tour of the city, children and their families can check out more than 80 interactive exhibits. Additionally, the museum hosts a number of ever-changing traveling exhibits as well. Open every day; Sept.–Memorial Day, Mon. 9 a.m.–noon; Tue.–Fri. 9 a.m.–5 p.m.; Sat. 9 a.m.–6 p.m.; Sun. noon–4 p.m. Summer hours Mon.–Fri. 9 a.m.–5 p.m., Sat. 9 a.m.–6 p.m., Sun. noon–4 p.m. Admission fee. 210/212-4453.
