Oakwood Cemetery is the oldest cemetery in Austin. Featuring a charming rusticated Gothic Revival chapel built in 1914, Oakwood is the last resting place for many prominent families including the Zilkers, Scarbroughs, Swishers, Littlefields and Bremonds, as well as Governors Pease, Hamilton, Roberts, Hogg and Colquitt.
